vista upgrade sp2

Vista upgrade from SP2

I don't know what build it is, as its at home, its from December, i assume is 5381, i will confirm later. However, after installing ( all 6 hours ), i can't browse anything, windows simply flash up and close instantly after double clicking, i can't run any programs either, i have tried to browse to the root of C:\ but i can't unless i browse through the supplemental driver upgrade program which is looking for D:\drivers, which isn't on the Technet DVD i got.
Cheers,
any HELP! would be muchly appreciated,
Bryan

Try a later build such as the February CTP 5308 x86 which supports upgrading from XP SP2. The build you are running is build 5270 (December CTP), this build does not support upgrades. -- -- Andre Windows Connected | http://www.windowsconnected.com Extended64 | http://www.extended64.com Blog | http://www.extended64.com/blogs/andre http://spaces.msn.com/members/adacosta
